From the Care Quality Commission's public register: its monthly list of active locations, its weekly directory and its public API, reused under the Open Government Licence. Siftdata compares each update, keeps the newly registered services and leaves out services registered to a named individual. Siftdata is independent and not part of CQC.
Does a new registration always mean a new business?
No. A service registers again after a change of owner, company or address. "New to CQC" counts only providers that had no other service registered with CQC before.
